We are serving traditional Midwest BBQ Kansas City style! As usual it’s an all-you-can-eat supper just like at your mama’s house and each person gets a 1/2 liter of wine or two bottles of beer..

Certain regions of America are fiercely loyal to their particular style of barbecue, and Missouri is no exception. The fine city of Kansas City is the birthplace of dry-rubbed barbecue drizzled in a mouth-watering tomato & molasses sauce. Algarve Smoke has created its own version of this sticky, sweet, peppery finger-licking Kansas City BBQ condiment. Kansas City folk don’t discriminate among types of meat (unlike Texas barbecue_) , cow, pig, chicken, cat-fish, turkey and even crawdads are fair game for the BBQ).

Our locally raised beef Brisket is smoked very slow for around 16-hours over a bed of Olive & Almond wood chips and ‘mopped’ with our own secrete recipe. If I say so myself, this is really beautiful traditional American food, no question.  I only cook it ’cause I love to eat it SO much and I just can’t find good BBQ anywhere here in the Algarve. So if I can’t find it? Well then, if I want it that bad, I just have to make it myself!

We serve good old fashioned country food, alfresco on the patio with good music playing on the radio, a bit ‘o good craic and some seriously good stories just waiting to be told.

COVID: we follow the current guidelines for Health and Safety in an eatery as dictated by the Portuguese Health Authorities IE While serving food, we all wear masks, tables, chairs and all common surfaces will be sanitized often,
