With the fire season in high-alert we can neither smoke nor BBQ sooooo we turn back to our Mexican basket of family favourite recipes 

Smothered Baked  California Pork Burritos AKA “skinny chimichangas” are soooo delicious!  The classic California burrito is stuffed with the BEST slow cooked Mexican pork infused with our own smoked spices, salsa and green chilies, wrapped in flour or corn tortillas filled with refried beans ‘n rice then baked to golden perfection; smothered in most incredible Cheesy Green Chili Sour Cream Sauce. This is lick-the-pan nyumy!   We make our own Salsas from chilis, peppers and tomatoes from the garden Algarve Smoke Seasonings. 

And the Buffalo Wings? Have you ever tasted real traditional NEW YORK WINGS? NO? Well come prepared for your mouth and brain to explode in a fusion of taste-ecstasy. Invented by Anchor Bar co-owners Teressa and Frank Bellissimo in 1964 in Buffalo, New York, the Buffalo wing has become a staple for chicken-wing lovers across America.  These babies are served with our OWN homemade version of the traditional ‘Wing Sauce’. You cannot find this  food ANYWHERE in the Algarve. The Mexican ‘Slaw‘ is crisp and refreshing with a crunchy mixture of shredded Beets & Apples. Coriander, Lime and just a hint of Chiles.
