Algarve Smoke is passionate about Garlic, Passionate about and passionate about Smoking. We Smoke Garlic and Chiles with Smoked Sea Salt and create some of the finest smoked seasonings in the world. Through slow, cold smoking (20C-30C) the volatile oils within the garlic bulb are converted to sugar, making the garlic not only sweet but mild, nutty and smoky. Our sensational smoked seasonings will enhance all foods, elevating them to the heights of culinary heaven
Algarve Smoke is the only Portuguese owned business creating and commercially marketing Smoked Garlic products and Black Garlic. We use thousand year old traditional Asian methods and “time”, allowing 41-days to ferment Black Garlic. The result is a soft black clove with tasty hints of balsamic and truffles. It’s a truly amazing, unique, intoxicating taste.
We exclusively use fresh, locally grown, organic, and hand-selected / hand harvested ingredients from The Algarve in Portugal. The wood we burn for smoking comes from sustainable local woodlands and orchards. The organic solar sea-salt is harvested from the Rui Simea’s Tavira saltpans at and the Chilis and Garlic are either grown on our own lands or sourced from local micro-farms. Algarve Smoke uses a combination of Olive and Almond Wood & Carob pods mixed with the leaves of Rosemary and Bay Laurel cold smoke these ingredients for a minimum of 48-hours. Our flagship product is the “Artesian Smoked Garlic Seasoning’. The salt and garlic are smoked by hand for over 48-hours and then tumble roasted with shallots, coriander, cumin, paprika, pepper chipotle chili, oregano, and Tamari; the result is one of finest seasoning to ever cross anyone’s lips.

THE ALGARVE SMOKE ‘SUPPER CLUB’
This site is also home to The Algarve Smoke Supper Club. A pop-up eatery ‘Supper Club’ serving traditional Mexican, TexMex and Kansas City style BBQ in our home. We serve up to 18-guests in a casual, outdoor, ‘cowboy-style” setting and offer a well-laid country table surrounded with the conversations and chuckles of interesting folks.
